Destiny Pinto was pursuing a design degree at college in 2021 when she was first diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, which almost instantly changed her approach to her artistic pursuits.

Looking at four-year-old Lerumo today, you would never be able to tell the struggles she and her trunk have endured.
Elephant Havens received a call about Lerumo and her mother after the animals crashed through the electric fence into a safari camp and refused to leave the area. Unfortunately, Lerumo’s mother was euthanized, but Elephant Havens, working with the Botswanian government, was able to get Lerumo transferred to their orphanage.

A child who was critically injured last week at a water park in Kansas City, Missouri, has died.
A lifeguard responded to the girl last week after noticing she was in distress at 6:45 p.m. on July 5, a park spokesperson for Cedar Fair Entertainment told theKansas City Star. The staff member was able to pull her from the water, and emergency medical personnel as well as the Kansas City Fire Department provided care for her at the scene, per the report.
