Ryan Murphywill be honored for his contributions to television at the 2023Golden Globe Awards.
On Thursday, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) named Murphy, 57, as the 2023 recipient of the 4th annualCarol BurnettAward, which honors prominent figures who have made an impact not only on viewers but on the industry as a whole.
Helen Hoehne, President of the HFPA, said theGleecreator was chosen for the diversity of his projects and their “thrilling” content.

TheGreat British Baking Showsemi-finalist, 34, honored the LGBTQ+ community during his run on the show. After he got eliminated during the semi-final, Domagala shared a touchingInstagram post, revealing that he wore a different color from the pride flag each week.
During the season, he repped all of the colors of the progress pride flag, which also includes colors that represent both the transgender community and people of color in the LGBTQ+ community.
