Lisa Ann Walteris reflecting on how Hollywood impacted her body image early in her career.
On August 6, theAbbott Elementarystar, 61, posted onX— formerly Twitter — sharing old photos of herself wearing a black slip dress highlighting her toned figure and curves. She recalled struggling with her appearance at the time.
“And after all the unnecessary self-loathing, I learned years later that in the industry I was known as… ‘The Body,'” she wrote.
Underneath the pictures, one follower asked her, “Don’t you just want to go back in time and fight EVERYONE who made us feel bad?” The actress replied, “Yes.”
“Omg - I’m blown away. THANK YOU,” she responded. “Also - why was Hollywood making me feel like I was fat? Lol #SizeZeroIsStupid.”

Earlier this year, Walter opened up toCosmopolitanabout how she’s suddenly found herself to be the object of affection for a handful of younger men.
“I have young men coming on to me all the time now. Some of them are famous. I won’t name names, but they slip into my DMs,” theParent Trapstar said.
The SAG Award winner explained that she felt like it’s been an adjustment in recent years to realize how beauty standards have changed and made her feel more desirable.
She said, “The younger generation of guys have been socialized to be attracted to my exact body type, which I was always taught to be ashamed of when I was growing up.”
