Adam Doleac and Wife MacKinnon Welcome First Baby Together: ‘Welcome to the Planet, Jack’

Adam Doleacis officially a dad!

Adam and MacKinnon shared a collaborated post that included several photos of their little bundle of joy. The first photo showed the excited parents beside their newborn son in his stroller outside of the hospital.

More photos featured sweet snaps of MacKinnon smiling with Jack resting on her chest as she remained in the hospital bed. In one image, Adam was seen beside MacKinnon’s bed as the new parents smiled for the camera, and in another photo, he held his swaddled son.

The pair also included short videos of their son, such as a close-up of Adam holding a Polaroid of MacKinnon and Jack. He pulls down the photo to capture a quiet moment between the mother and son in real time.

“Welcome to the planet, Jack Mackinnon Doleac. 3/23/24 9lbs, 6 oz. We already love you more than we even knew we could,” Adam began in the caption. “@macdoleacI am in complete awe of you. You are already the best momma to our (not so) little boy. Our lives will never be the same, and there’s nothing more exciting than that 🩵🥹.”

Speaking with PEOPLE in January, Adam and MacKinnonrevealed they were expecting a boyand talked about looking forward to all the memories they’ll make with their little one, The two explained that while their minds were flooded with ideas for their son and their family’s future, they were also enjoying the moment.

“I think we are most excited just becoming parents at all! It is a dream we have both always had, and it is wild to think it’s only a matter of weeks away,” Adam shared at the time.

“We talk about it all the time. The music industry is tough and unpredictable and anything but easy, but it’s definitely our dream to be able to bring a separate bus out and tour the country with our little family,” Adam said.

“I know if the fans had their way, MacKinnon would be at every single show. I think she has more fans than I do,” he laughed. “But we love being able to do that together. Our communication, our lives are just easier and better when we are able to be together.”

“We’re praying and trying to manifest that time together with our family, and that this music coming out is going to lead us to that point where we get to have those experiences together.”
