Adele Says She Won't See Fans for an 'Incredibly Long Time' After Las Vegas Residency Ends

Adeleis warning her fans about her upcoming hiatus.

The“Easy on Me”singer, 36, told audience members at a recent Munich concert that she will be stepping away from the spotlight “for an incredibly long time" after her Las Vegas residency ends in November.

Avideo posted on TikTokshows Adele onstage addressing her fans, at which time she said, “I have 10 shows to do, but after that I will not see you for an incredibly long time, and I will hold you dear in my heart.”

People in the comment section shared their grief over the news, while also recognizing that Adele takes extended breaks between projects.

“This is what Adele does. Disappears, then comes out with a banger,” a fan wrote, alluding to her six-year gap between her25and30albums.

Adele is set to perform her final 10 shows of her Weekends with Adele residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace from Oct. 25 to Nov. 23, marking the end of the residency that started in November 2022.

The dates wereoriginally scheduledfor March, but Adele needed topostpone themin February to go on vocal rest. “Sadly I have to take a beat and pause my Vegas residency,” shesaidat the time. “I was sick at the end of the last leg and all the way through my break.”

The 16-time Grammy winner wrapped her Munich residency on Sunday, Aug. 31. The residency started on Aug. 2 and played at the open-air venue Messe München. Per thewebsite for the residency, the run was the first time she has performed in “mainland Europe” since 2016.

Earlier this summer, Adele toldGerman outlet ZDFthat she doesn’t haveplans for new music. Instead, she’s focusing on other endeavors.

“I don’t have any plans for new music, at all,” she said. “I want a big break after this and I think I want to do other creative things, just for a little while.”

The couplefirst sparked dating rumorsin July 2021, when they were photographed watching an NBA Finals game courtside together.
