Alix Earle Encourages Boyfriend Braxton Berrios After His Season-Ending Injury: 'Proud to Be by Your Side'

Alix Earleis showing her support for boyfriendBraxton Berriosafter he suffered a season-ending injury.

The 29-year-old Miami Dolphins wide receiver took toInstagramon Oct. 21 to share that he was “heartbroken” that “my season is over” after he tore his ACL during a game against the Indianapolis Colts on Oct. 20.

“The road ahead is measured in months and not days, but I find comfort in knowing I’ve been here before,” he wrote in his caption. “If you’re lucky like me, adversity has become a close friend. It means you’re chasing something not easily attainable and through all the failures and setbacks you’ve persevered. There’s pain along the way, but what’s on the other side makes it all worth it.”

“After the dust settles the choice each day is going to be pretty straightforward- have this be a part of my story or have it be the end of my story,” he continued. “Well like Kobe once said, ‘If you see me in a fight with a bear, pray for the bear.’ "

The 23-year-oldHot Mess with Alix Earlehost showed her support for Berrios online, simply writing “I love you ❤️” in the comment section. She also reposted Berrios' photo on herInstagram Stories, writing, “It’s crazy how things can change in a matter of seconds … especially seeing how much hard work you put into the game not only physically but mentally.”

Earle and Berrios first met at a party in Miami inFebruary 2023and officially announced that they were dating inNovember 2023during her appearance onCall Her Daddy.

Earleopened up about her relationshipon an episode of theHot Messpodcast on Oct. 16 and shared that she didn’t immediately jump into a relationship with Berrios when they first met.

“When I met Braxton, I literally was like, ‘The last thing on earth that I want is a boyfriend,’ which is why it took me so long to date him,” Alix recalled. However, after the pair got the chance to know each other, she realized he was “just so perfect” for her and dove into the relationship.

She also encouraged her listeners not to be afraid of being single or be afraid to “leave s— relationships.” While she is currently happy with Berrios, she noted that “If I wasn’t happy with Braxton and things weren’t going great, I would be like, ‘All right, break up, I’ll be single.’ That’s fine.”

“Being in a relationship is great, but you shouldn’t be in a relationship that you don’t want to be in just so you’re not single.”
