Anya Taylor-Joywould be willing to venture into the unknown for her next role!
In a cover interview forVogueHong Kong’s September 2024 issue, theFuriosa: A Mad Max Sagaactress, 28, revealed that she “would love to do a musical,” as she’s “a bit addicted to hard work.”
“I thinkFrozenwould be pretty great,” Taylor-Joy replied when asked her dream Disney role, as she isa fan of Disney. “It would be very fun to shoot ice out of your hand.”
“Also, you’d just be the favorite at every kid’s birthday party,” she added. “All of my siblings have children now, so I would love for them to be able to say, ‘My auntie is Elsa.’ That would be pretty sick.”

Of potentially doing a musical in general, theQueen’s Gambitstar said she “like(s) having an impossible mountain to climb” with her work.
“The idea of havingto be able to sing, dance and act at the same time would just really thrill me,” Taylor-Joy explained.
She’s no stranger to the dance portion, tellingVogueHong Kong, “My background as a dancer has helped me with everything in my life,” from the movement itself to the discipline involved.
And if shewasn’t an actress? “I think I’d be a travel journalist,” Taykor-Joy said. “I really love to travel and getting to know other people’s cultures. I’ve realized that I’m a bit of an adrenaline junkie, so I think that plays into it.”

Aside from Menzel, 53, the voice cast in the original film andits 2019 sequel, plus various shorts, includesKristen Bellas Princess (later Queen) Anna,Jonathan Groffas Kristoff andJosh Gadas Olaf.
It was revealed at D23 last month that the third installment in the hit franchise will bereleased in theaters on Nov. 24, 2027.
“Every morning last week they carved out space for me to work with the creative team on it, and I am blown away and I am so excited,” said Lee at the time, perVariety.
Another thing on the horizon for theFrozenfranchise is the upcoming Disney+ debut ofits stage adaptation. StarringSamantha Barksas Elsa, it will begin streaming in 2025.
