Ashley Wagner and Alex Clark Welcome First Baby, Who ‘Charmed Us All’

Alongside asweet carousel of images and clipsof their daughter in the hospital, Wagner wrote, ”Rosalie Starbird Clark. A woman who could not be rushed and did things her own way entering this world- fierce 💁🏼‍♀️ You’ve already mastered serving face (you are your mother’s daughter) and have charmed us all. Welcome to the world Rosie girl, we love you so much 🥰.”

The carousel also featured a video of teacher Clark sharing a cute skin-to-skin moment with his new daughter, who placed her hand on her dad’s chest.

Wagner and Clark were flooded with messages after announcing their happy news.

“Congratulations!!!! ❤️,” wrote fellow Olympian Kaitlin Hawayek, while 1988 Olympic champion Brian Boitano, added, “Congratulations!!”

Meanwhile, in a post on her Instagram Story, Wagner shared the inspiration behind her daughter’s unique middle name.

“Starbird is my Nana’s maiden name and she was the fiercest woman I have ever known,” she explained. “Cheers to the strong women we are all lucky enough to learn from ❤️.”

Alongside a sonogram photo and a series of snaps of them together as a couple, Wagner wrote onInstagram, “I am really excited to announce the next big chapter in my life story, and I’m thrilled that I get to navigate this life with my person. Welcome to the world #poquitoclarkito coming in HOT this December!”

And the duo are gearing up for a busy 2024 as they are also planning to tie the knot next year!

In September,Wagner shared via Instagram that she and Clark would be marryingnext summer at Scenic Beach State Park in Seabeck, WA, with the sports star revealing that she “grew up in” the park with her younger brother Austin.
