Audrina Patridge Says Kristin Cavallari Shouldn't 'Settle Down' with New Boyfriend but Supports Her Having 'Some Fun'

Audrina Patridgeis sharing her thoughts onKristin Cavallari’s new romance.

The reality star revealed that she is fully supportive of her formerHillscostar, 37, datingMark Estes, a 24-year-old former football player for Montana State University and Montana Tech.

“I actually wrote to her, I was like, ‘Kristin, you guys make such a hot couple, congrats. Like, as long as you are happy that’s all that matters,'” Patridge, 38, toldPage Six.

“And maybe she needs to switch up, maybe she needs to have some fun!” she added, seemingly referring to her marriage toJay Cutler, whichended in 2020.

Partridge also weighed in on the controversy about Cavallari dating a younger man, saying, “A lot of men can date younger girls, so why not? I don’t think it’s gonna be the one to settle down with but I think for now it’s great.”

Earlier this month, Cavallariresponded to the criticismshe’s received about her new relationship ina TikTok video.

“When they’re all up in arms that im dating a 24 year old. Andddd?” she captioned the video, which showed her mouthing the words to a clip that said, “So what are you gonna do about it?”

When another voice in the audio says, “We’re reporting it,” Cavallari continues mouthing, “Are you gonna arrest me? Are you gonna give me a ticket?” before flashing a cheeky smile at the camera.

“He makes me happy 🤍” she captioned the shot, which he also reposted on his Instagram Story with two hearts.

Themother of threethen rolled her head back with a laugh before hopping into the former college football player’s arms. From there, Estes carried her toward the camera, his arm wrapped securely around her torso, and one hand at her lower back.

Shortly after the pair confirmed that they were an item, a source told PEOPLE that they have been “dating longer than people think,” but “have kept it very private.”

“They’re serious enough now that they were ready to go public,” the source explained, mentioning that the two originally met on “social media.”

“They’re really happy together. He’s been so great to her and is just a really nice guy,” the insider added. “He’s not your typical 24 year old. She’s having a great time and is living her best life with him.”
