In an interview withGQ,the actor, 31, opened up about welcoming his son Brando, whom he shares with ex Alyson Sandro. As Keoghan’s son was born while he was shootingSaltburn, the star said he only had limited time off before he had to return to filming.
“They gave me a day off,” Keoghan revealed. “Good on them! Day off, and straight on to night shoots and night feedings — boom!”

Though it was quite the busy time, the actor said it was all worth it.
Of Sandro, whom Keoghan has since split from, the actor said “she’s done a great job and she’s an incredible mother.”

“I feel a responsibility, I feel an enormous amount of pressure, which is good,” he said of becoming a parent. “And I can’t get the little boy off my mind. It’s beautiful Y’know, it’s crazy, but when he looks at you, you feel like the most important person in the world. That’s the effect he has on me. He smiles at you and you’re like, ‘Wow. You’re smiling at me like that? I don’t deserve that, but anyways, thanks.'”
As for the inspiration behind his son’s name, Keoghan said he turned to another one of his loves — acting.
“Brando Keoghan. Imagine that, for a name!” he told the outlet. “I set him up. Brando Keoghan, piano player. I obviously love Marlon Brando, but I just, yeah — for a first name I thought it was quite cool. To have Brando in your name — feckin’ hell, man!'
“He’s got a lot to live up to, that kid. But he’ll live up to it. He has to have that leather jacket and rock-star attitude, you know what I mean? He’ll have a motorbike when he’s 12, I think.”
