The singer, 43, shared photos of herself and herCowboy CartercollaboratorWillie Nelsonto Instagram on Monday, Oct. 28, showing the pair posing together at Vice PresidentKamala Harris' campaign event in Houston on Oct. 25.

Nelson, 91,took the stage to performat the event, before his fellow Texas nativeBeyoncé introduced the presidential hopeful, 60, in an impassioned speech.

“The Great Willie! You are the coolest!” Beyoncé captionedher photo gallery, which also included shots with momTina Knowles. “I admire you, and I sincerely thank you for being the pioneer you are.”

As Beyoncé took the stage to introduce Harris, she made it clear that as a mother of three, she is concerned about the future of America. (The singer shares daughterBlue Ivy, 11, plus 7-year-old twinsRumi and Sir, with husbandJAY-Z.)

She also urged those who were tuning in to cast their vote, telling them their voices and votes matter. “Your freedom is your God-given right, your human right.”

“We must vote. And we need you. It’s time to sing a new song,” theLemonadeartist added.

Beyoncé’s appearance came months after she allowed Harris’ first campaign video to feature her song“Freedom”in July, shortly after the vice president entered the presidential race.
