Blink-182 Cancel Two Upcoming U.S. Concerts 'Due to Illness': 'We Are So Sorry'

Blink-182won’t be moving forward with a couple upcoming concerts.

On Thursday, Aug. 8, the band featuringMark Hoppus,Tom DeLongeandTravis Barkerannouncedon social media, “Unfortunately, due to illness, we are unable to make it to Kansas City and St. Louis,” referring to their scheduled Aug. 9 and 10 shows in the respective cities.

The rockers confirmed that anyone who purchased tickets via Ticketmaster would get a refund issued “automatically” and instructed those who bought through third-party resellers to contact such entities.

“We are so sorry,” Blink-182 added in the statement, “and hope to see you next time.”

This isn’t the first time the band has canceled concerts because of illness. Back in early April, a promoter for the group’s scheduled shows in Mexico City announcedon X(formerly Twitter) that they had no choice but to cancel due to sick crew members. This news came just two days after the pop-punk icons called off another performance, perBillboard.

He concluded, “We appreciate your understanding and support.”

Blink-182 is currently on itsOne More Time tour, which concludes in Toronto on Aug. 15. The pop-punk icons announced the massive North American run — supporting their 2023 reunion album of the same name — in October, with 30 dates spanning the U.S. and Canada this summer.
