Brittany Mahomesis praising her husbandPatrick Mahomesfor his support during her recentSports Illustrated Swimsuitphotoshoot.

The 28-year-old gave a shout out to husband Patrick, also 28, in a post on Friday, sharing her gratitude for the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback’s support in her firstSIphotoshoot, after she was unveiled as a 2024 Rookie on Thursday.

On her Instagram Story, Brittanyposteda stunning shot of herself from the shoot posing in a red Mugler bathing suit as she tagged Patrick and thanked him “for being the most supportive husband ” during the experience in a caption written over the pic.

Brittany also praised her team for helping her make herSIdebut possible. She thanked tan artist Isabel Alysa “for flying in to tan me before I head off to Belize,” where the shoot took place, fitness trainer Chels. B “for keeping me grinding in the gym,” and Caroline Potter “for being my twin sidekick.”

The mom of two went on to describe her shoot experience as “nothing short of amazing” in the caption as she gave thanks to theSIshoot and styling team, calling them, “ALL AMAZING PEOPLE.”

Speaking to her 1.8 million followers, she wrote, “I’m here to tell you, people will dislike you, people will love you. Don’t let any of that define you.”

“KEEP SHINING and being YOU,” Brittany concluded her message, adding some star emojis.

Brittany’sSIshoot comes ahead ofthe Chiefs match against the San Francisco 49ersat theSuper Bowl 2024in Las Vegas on Sunday.

Speaking further about the experience, Brittany shared she “never in my wildest dreams thought this would happen” as she spoke of being selected to model forSIin an interview.

“I’m so thankful and honored and so excited to be here with this team,” she toldSI Swim. “I want women to feel empowered to always be yourself, love yourself and feel confident in whatever you do, and I thinkSI Swimsuitdoes, too,” Brittany added.

The Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers will face off in Super Bowl LVIII, airing on CBS on Feb. 11 at 6:30 p.m. ET.
