Carla Hall 'Won't Do' Injectables Despite Joking Her 'Face Will Drop Quicker Than My Breasts' (Exclusive)

As the host of Max’sChasing Flavor, 59, looks to her 60th birthday in May, she says there are things she will — and won’t — be doing to feel good about herself.

At the top of her pass list: Botox. “Won’t do it,' Hall declares. The star is not against the injectable, she tells PEOPLE, she’s just leaning into an “easy-peasy” lifestyle.

“I don’t judge people who do it. I have friends who do Botox. I am not good with maintenance, and what if I can’t afford it one day?”

But rest assured, she’s not worried about the consequences. “Child, my face is going to be down there with my knees. My face will drop quicker than my breasts will. [But] no. I’m not doing it.”

“I’m getting older, and understanding what my skin needs at this age,” says Hall.

“I don’t want to look 40. I don’t care that I have a wrinkle. I don’t care that when I smile, you may see some crow’s feet, or you may see something in between my brows, laugh lines. Because my laugh lines means I laugh. My dimple is getting deeper, as I age, and I’m okay with that.”

As for what she will do, Hall says having a skincare routine is essential. “I have a really good girlfriend, Lorrie King, and she createdCaire Beauty[pronounced “care”] because her mother was going through chemo, and her skin was really dry. It helps menopausal skin. I’m like, ‘Girl, I’m in,” Hall says.

While Botox might be a no-go, she will invest time and money in facials. “I’ve been getting them since I was twenty-four. That’s the one thing that I will spend money on.” In between appointments, Hall will mask at home.

“One of the things that I realized was, I had to really take care of my skin because makeup was going on top of it. So before I do a big job, I’m putting a mask on. Because again, I just don’t want all of the makeup and everything going into my skin.”
