Charli xcx Reveals the Real Reason She's Wearing 2 Rings onThatFinger Even Though She's Not Married Yet

Don’t be fooled —Charli xcxandGeorge Danielhaven’t walked down the aisle just yet.

The “Apple” singer and The 1975 drummer may havegotten engaged last year, but they’re taking wedding planning in stride — and Charli’s rings have no bearing on her current relationship status.

Whilechatting with Howard Sternon Wednesday, Oct. 2, the singer was asked about her ring stack. Stern clocked that Charli, 32, was wearing two rings onthatfinger, not just one.

Stern joked that he was looking for an exclusive on her being married to Daniel, but Charli was quick to clarify that her second ring wasn’t actually a wedding band.

“I didn’t get [my engagement ring] resized, so I have to put a ring on top of it so it doesn’t fall off,” she quipped in response to wearing two.

She then divulged the little bit of wedding planning she and her fiancé have done since getting engaged.

“We’re kinda, like, planning it slowly,” she shared. “We’re both very chill, and we want to just have a party, is our vibe. Neither of us are particularly formal about marriage, I guess, or care about the formalities of the ceremony or whatever. We just want to be together forever and have a party with our friends.”

Charli also dished on being anti-bra, telling Stern that she thinks it’s “hot to not wear a bra.”

“It’s very, like, ’90s, you know, free the nipple, etc. etc., so, it’s all good, you’re welcome,” she shared of choosing to not wear bras.

She also pointedly told Stern — who admitted he’s also anti-bra — that their motivations are likely different for not approving of bras but was still game to answer as to why she prefers to ditch the undergarment.
