The video comes a few days after Hemsworth, Henry,Scarlett Johansson,Keegan-Michael Key,Steve Buscemiand the other stars of the Josh Cooley-directed animated feature walked the red carpet at the film’sNew York premiere.
The film chronicles the origin story of Transformers main characters Optimus Prime and Megatron and how they went from being friends to sworn enemies, changing the fate of Cybertron forever. It is a prequel to the movie series that began withMichael Bay’s 2007 filmTransformers.
The film’s director, Cooley, previously revealed that Hemsworth recorded his role in the new animated film from the comfort of his home in Australia — though not without challenges.
“All of Chris' recordings were done at his house. So I would travel all the way to Sydney and record there, which was really fun,” Cooley told PEOPLE.
“He got a great place and hiskids would come running into the roomoccasionally and he’d be like, ‘Oh, hold on, let me get lunch for him,’ or whatever it was,” he added. “But it was great. It was so super chill and he’s a phenomenal, a great guy.”
