A Michigan mother is charged with murder after her 2-year-old daughter was found dead on Thursday, Nov. 7.
Bohne called 911 on Thursday to report that Octavia was unresponsive, WWMT reported, citing a police spokesperson.
“She seemed concerned," St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office Detective Sgt. Jason Auton told the outlet. “Her 2-year-old daughter was not awake.”
It is not immediately clear if Bohne has entered a plea or retained an attorney.
Bohne’s parents spoke to WWMT and expressed their shock at the charges filed against their daughter.
“I am used to being able to fix everything in my world and I feel helpless, and I just can’t fix it," Charles Bohne told the station.
