TheDegrassi Junior Highgang had a class reunion!
On Sunday, Oct. 6, Canadian actor and director Stefan Brogren, 52, shared a group photo onThreadsand Instagram of himself with fellow originalDegrassialumni Kristen Bourne, Amanda Stepto, Stacie Mistysyn and Pat Mastroianni. The cute pic showed the actors gathered around a table at Toronto sports bar The Dog and Bear sharing drinks and fries.
“So Joey, Caitlin, Spike, Tessa Campanelli and Snake walk in to a bar….” Brogren wrote in the post’s caption, referencing everyone’s characters, along with #degrassi.
OnInstagram, Brogren added the bar’s handle along with #WheresYick?, a reference to Siluck Saysanasy’sDegrassi Junior Highcharacter Yick Yu.
Brogren, Bourne, Stepto, Mistysyn and Mastroianni all starred in the groundbreaking Canadian teen drama, which aired on CBC in Canada and PBS in the U.S. from 1987 to 1989. They each went on to reprise their roles in a follow-up series,Degrassi High, which followed their characters into high school, from 1989 to 1991. Brogren also returned to the role of Archie “Snake” Simpson inDegrassi: The Next Generation— alongside a youngDrake—andDegrassi: Next Class.
The gang was back together for an Oct. 5 appearance at the first-ever Toronto edition of NostalgiaCon.

“It’s fun for us as well,” he added. “When we meet the fans, every time it kinda feels fresh because you kind of just have to remember how much [Degrassi] meant to so many people.”
Mastroianni also posted photos from NostalgiaCon — including of the group’s panel discussion, which took place in a boxing ring — on Instagram.

“Thank you Nostalgia Con for giving us the opportunity to appear at your inaugural event here in Toronto,” Mastroianni wrote. “My cast and I had a blast. So many folks came from far and wide to honour us with their love, appreciation and kindness. I hope we were able to give you all a special memory. My cast were amazing and did a terrific job. A little disappointed Caitlin and Tessa didn’t go a couple of rounds in the wrestling ring.”
Brogren, Mastroianni and Mistysyn are set to reconvene once again at Kitchner Comic Con in Kitchner, Ontario, on Nov. 2 and 3.
