Driver Charged after Allegedly Striking, Killing Ga. Girl Crossing Street to Board School Bus

PEOPLE previously reported that the Rock Spring Elementary school student was crossing the street at the time.
PEOPLE has reached out to the Georgia State Patrol for comment.
Adalynn’s mother Ashley opened up to 11Alive about her daughter. The girl will be donating eight of her organs, according to the nonprofit organizationCaring for a Cause.
“Her heart feels for the whole world. If she knows that there is a need out there, it makes her soul so happy to pray for them,” Ashley said of Adalynn.
PEOPLE previously reported that Adalynn wascritically injuredafter emergency medical personnel performed a “life-saving measure” before she was flown via helicopter to Egelston Children’s Hospital in Atlanta, per Georgia State Patrol.
