Eric McCormack Joined by Wife Janet Leigh at 2024 Oscars Viewing Party Months After Divorce Filing

AreEric McCormackand his wife, Janet Leigh Holden McCormack, reconciling?

Despite news of a split last year, the pair attended theElton JohnAIDS Foundation2024 Oscarsviewing party together and were all smiles as they posed for photos.

Eric, dressed in an elegant black tux, and Janet — who wore a silver sequined dress with long, sparkling gloves and a matching clutch — also were seen holding hands.

After 26 years of marriage, Janet filed for divorce from theWill & Gracestar, 60, in November 2023, citing “irreconcilable differences,“according to court documents. In the filing, she sought spousal support and requested that the court end Eric’s ability to receive spousal support.

Although she did not list a date of separation, the divorce filing was entered into the Los Angeles Superior Court a day before Thanksgiving.

“I was just coming out of a relationship, and not to be trusted,” Eric recalled of their first meeting in a 2007Guardianarticle. “I’d been dating actresses but Janet was different. She wore jeans, drove a pick-up truck.”

He revealed, “We had a secret affair the first season. I mean, dating crew! Actually, it was much worse for her, because she wasn’t supposed to give any of the actors preferential treatment.”

After three years of dating, the pair wed in August 1997. In 2002, they had their first and only child, son Finnigan Holden McCormack, 21.

In April 2020, the Emmy winner sharedan Instagram postof the pair’s first official photo together. The shot was taken at theLonesome Doveseason 1 wrap party and dated December 1994.

“Just so happens this was our ‘coming out’ party. No one on the show knew we’d been dating for months. 🤯And today is my wife’s birthday!” he wrote in the caption. “Happy Birthday, @janetmccormack #gratitude.”
