When Amurri arrived at the Ritz Carlton, the hotel’s manager presented her with a white feather umbrella, which she explains is “what all the New Orleans brides have when they celebrate.”
“I felt so special!” she recalls, before sharing how she and her friends jokingly compared her latest bachelorette party to those they experienced in their twenties.
“We were laughing the whole weekend about the differences between bachelorette parties in our twenties and this ‘elder millennial’ bachelorette we were having,” she tells PEOPLE. “I have to say, I enjoyed this one more than my last. I think mostly because I enjoy myself and my friendships so much more, and just appreciate life in a different way.”
