A Frontier Airlines jet suffered a terrifying brush with fire as it landed in Las Vegas over the weekend.
The incident occurred to a flight from San Diego as the aircraft landed at Harry Reid International Airport at around 3:15 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5, Frontier Airlines shared in astatement.
“As Flight 1326 was in the process of landing at LAS this afternoon … the pilots detected smoke and declared an emergency," Frontier wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “The aircraft landed safely and all passengers and crew were evacuated via airstairs.”

No injuries were reported from the 190 passengers and seven crew onboard the plane during the incident.
According to airport officials, per CNN and ABC News, the plane “experienced a hard landing where basically tires blew.”

The National Transport Safety Board announced that is investigating the cause of the incident in astatementon X on Sunday, Oct. 6.
