Alex Honnoldis continuing his reign as a girl dad.
Daughter Alice Summer Honnold was born on Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 9:25 p.m., weighing 6 lbs., 6 oz. and measuring 19 inches long. Alice, who carries Honnold’s grandmother’s name, was born in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The couple is already parents to daughter June, who celebrates her second birthday on Feb. 17.
“When I got to the hospital there were some complications and my doctor recommended a c-section. We headed straight there and everything went well after that!”

“After a fairly traumatic first birth with June, Alice’s birth was a huge relief. We were home 2 days later!” Sanni adds.
“We found out I was pregnant at my best friend’s wedding, which I was officiating! It reminded me of the scene fromFriendswhere Rachel keeps spitting out the champagne at Monica’s wedding,” the new mom of two laughs.
“We had decided we wanted our kids to be close together in age and had been trying for a few months. We were very happy when we got the good news!”

The news came just as Alex headed out for a two-month-long biking trip from Colorado to Alaska, however.
“The summer was a tough time with morning sickness and a rambunctious 1½-year- old. I couldn’t have been happier when he got back home!”
The family of four is now settled in at home, with their toddler daughter “transitioning well” to being a big sister.
The Honnold family offers more glimpses into their life in Alex’s recently debuted National Geographic series,Arctic Ascent.
The couple is looking forward to hitting the road with their two little ones this summer.
“We have a few big trips planned for our new family of four — all with changeable tickets and refundable Airbnbs, just in case! To be honest, I’m not sure if our expectations are too high for what is possible with two kids, but we are going to try our best!”
