The woman had told police at the time that the pair got into an argument at a bar, according to the outlet. Ratray’s girlfriend then told police that she left him to return to their hotel room and that he followed her back to the hotel, where the woman said he pinned her on the bed and began choking her.
KFOR reported that Oklahoma City Police Detective Joseph Burnett wrote in his report about the altercation that Ratray allegedly threatened the woman: “This is how you die,” he allegedly said as he strangled her. Ratray then stopped strangling her and punched the woman in the face before she ran out of their hotel room, according to the report.
The actor’s domestic violence trial was delayed last month after he was reportedly hospitalized “in critical condition,” according toTMZ. It remains unclear what Ratray was hospitalized for at the time. The outlet reported that Ratray has since been released and returned home.
