Imagine Dragons' Dan Reynolds and Ex Aja Volkman Reach Divorce Settlement Agreement 10 Months After Filing

Dan ReynoldsandAja Volkmanhave reached a settlement agreement in their divorce, 10 months aftershe filed in April.

The Nico Vega singer, 43, has asked the court to terminate spousal support to the Imagine Dragons musician, 36. Both parties notarized the agreement on Nov. 15, 2023.

The pairannounced their splitin September 2022, and PEOPLE confirmed that Volkman filed for dissolution of marriage last April in Los Angeles.

Just one day later, she shared a lengthyInstagram statementnoting that the breakup “marked a pretty big transition in our lives,” and that the change had been challenging.

“Navigating being in a public space while going through all of the things we have been through this year has been hard for both Dan and I,” she wrote. “There is nothing to be said about the fairness of that because we both chose to be on a stage as our career path, so it certainly comes with the territory. However, I’ve never spoken about the details of our marriage or separation or divorce. I don’t intend to.”

She then expressed her love for the former couple’sfour “amazing children,“daughters Arrow Eve, 11, Gia James and Coco Rae, both 6, and son Valentine, 4, and asked that her followers not “create a witch-hunt out of the unknown.”

“I think my not saying anything at all about it has led people to draw conclusions that just aren’t real. Of course nobody ever imagines failing at anything when they begin,” Volkman added. “We fight like hell and do our best to have a positive outcome. Life is just really wild.”

Since their split, Reynolds has been romantically linked to actressMinka Kelly; in November 2022, the twowere snappedenjoying a five-hour dinner together in Los Angeles, and in March 2023, they werephotographed kissingas he carried her luggage for her.

Reps for Reynolds and Volkman did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

The “Radioactive” musicianannounced his splitfrom the “Beast” performer after a decade of marriage on Twitter in September 2022.

“I am saddened to say that after many beautiful years together, Aja and I have separated,” Reynolds wrote on the platform. “Being great parents to our children is our number one priority. Thank you for always supporting us with love and care for all these years.”
