The Golden Bachelorette’s contestants were fighting forJoan Vassos' heart, but they also took home important “bromances” with one another.
One of the most beloved parts of the reality dating showthis season was seeing camaraderie among the men in the mansion. Thinking back to them all living under the same roof, the men said the dynamic among them was definitely real.

Jonathan says he had done research into what the show was like before entering the mansion, but he was not expecting the brotherhood that he experienced.
“I had no idea what I was walking into,” he admits. “I’d seen shows in the past of competition, drama, things like that, but for the first time, for guys in the sixties-plus, I had no idea. And from the first night, we all just gelled together and no drama — all laughter, all bonding.”
Keith, who is from Indiana and stayed there for college, says the men he met on the show felt like his “fraternity brothers.” He adds, “They just reminded me of the guys that I grew up with."

It comes as no surprise that most of the men voted Pascal as most high maintenance in the mansion — and even Pascal himself says he agrees.
“Mark is not high-maintenance, I would say Keith is not high-maintenance,” Pascal says. “We’ve said most of them are not high-maintenance. They’re simple. How do I put that without being catty? They’re happy with a little. I’m not happy with a little, I want a lot.”
“He knew so much about the show — he’s seen every episode!” Mark says.

When it came to giving and taking advice, the men all did their fair share of helping one another out. As for who did it best, they all had different answers.
“To be honest with you, I give the best advice,” Pascal declares in all seriousness.
Meanwhile, Keith says he would give the title of best advice-giver to Mark, while Mark cleverly names Joan, and Jonathan says Charles.

Each man opened up onThe Golden Bachelorettein ways they never had before, they say. Pascal even reveals his kids saw him cry for the first time when watching the show.
“I got to show them that you could cry and it’s okay to cry,” he shares. “And I felt like there was a sign of weakness before the show, and when I saw those guys crying, I said, ‘I guess it’s okay. It’s okay to open up. It’s okay to have feelings.’”
Still, he wouldn’t call himself the most sensitive — that label goes to Mark, who concurs. “Probably me,” he laughs.
“I think the most sensitive was my brother Jonathan,” Gary says. “He wore his heart on his sleeve.”
Jonathan, meanwhile, says Kim was very sensitive, and Keith says Dan.
The men shared several hilarious moments while living together. As for who was funniest, two seem to be tied.
“Greg made me laugh a lot,” Pascal says. “I laughed a lot with Greg, Dan, CK, my roommate. They were very funny. I think Greg was the funniest guy around.”
“Greg,” Keith says. “Greg or Pascal probably made me laugh the most.”
Mark also says that while many might not realize, Pascal brought a lot of laughs into the mansion. “Pascal, daily, every conversation we had, it seemed like it was just laugh, laugh, laugh,” he shares.
Gary, on the other hand, is giving himself the title, saying, “I think I would probably take that torch and run with it. So that would be me.”

If you’re wondering whose food was the biggest crowd-pleaser, it seems there were multiple good cooks in the kitchen.
“I got to help Charles cook, like, a 17-course meal,” Mark says. “I was chopping for hours!”
“Jack was awesome, Mark would come in a close second and then Charles was also really good at putting dishes together,” Gary reveals. “All three of them.”
Jonathan seconds that Charles was the best chef, while Keith is certain Jack is the winner.
Pascal says his opinion is a bit skewed, but he knows who he would pick. “Mark cooked for me, so I don’t know anybody else,” he jokes. “Nobody wanted to cook for me.”
