Jake Gyllenhaalis getting support from girlfriendJeanne Cadieuas he continues to promote his newest project.

The couple stepped out Thursday night to attend a U.K. screening of his filmRoad House, where they smiled as they posed for photos together at the Curzon Mayfair in London.

Gyllenhaal, 43, rocked a tweed-style tan suit over a crisp white shirt and burgundy tie. His girlfriend boasted a black-and-white menswear look, complete with black trousers and a black tie that adorned a white shirt of her own, with short sleeves featuring floral-like embellishments.

The two could be seen chatting and smiling on thered carpetahead of the screening, with neon-styleRoad Housesignage behind them.

Gyllenhaal has been in a years-long relationship with Cadieu, a French model. And back in September 2023, the actor said their relationship has evolved since those early days.

“It’s all about growing together and listening and being open. It’s really not much different from any relationship when it works,” Gyllenhaaltold PEOPLE at the time.

While he and Cadieu have kept their relationship largely private, save for select public appearances such asat last summer’s French Openand on the red carpet for his sisterMaggie Gyllenhaal’s directorial debutThe Lost Daughter, he said the couple does what feels natural for them.

“It’s no secret that I’m in a relationship and it’s a wonderful relationship,” Gyllenhaal explained. “We are private, but I guess we are who we are. We’re just living our lives. We always have. And I love that people are interested, but at the same time, it’s like what’s ours is ours.”

“Ten years ago, I madeSouthpaw, which is another fight movie, and I was in a different place,” he explained. “My body was, I knew that I needed help with nutrition and I knew I needed to keep myself safe from injury and I needed to also be able to have the aesthetics of the whole role.”

“So balancing all that took a group of people helping me all the time,” Gyllenhaal added.
