Jane Seymouris raving aboutLindsay Lohan’s performance in their upcoming film together!
The actress, 73, spoke to PEOPLE at the 17th Annual WIF Women Oscar Nominees Party on Friday about working with Lohan, 37, on their new Netflix rom-comIrish Wish.
As she explains, she plays the mother of Lohan’s character in the “really cute” movie — and her onscreen daughter was “terrific.”
“I mean, this is a big comeback for her, but she’s fantastic,” Seymour says. “Yeah, she was great. I mean, I watched everything she did when she was younger, and I think she’s in a really good place right now, and she’s terrific in it.”

Seymour adds that she felt Lohan’s comeback energy on set, and that the duo eventually met despite not filming any of their scenes in the same location.
“We met actually in Ireland. I think I had a fitting, and she was in the middle of doing a scene, but we stopped and chatted, and we spent a little time together in New York a few days ago,” she says. “We just kind of caught up and talked about children and life and things like that.”
