Jennifer Aniston’s Chunky Sneakers Just Persuaded Us to Refresh Our Shoe Collection — We Found Pairs from $39

Finding cute and comfortable shoes is truly a balancing act, but it’s one thatJennifer Anistonhas got down.

TheFriendsactress recently stepped out in Los Angeles in a long black coat, light-wash jeans, and noteworthy accessories. Her woven crossbody bag and black shades you’d probably find on a windowsill on Rodeo Drive, while her baseball cap and chunky white sneakers kept the look super low-key.

And since we wanted some footwear just like hers, we searched we found her exact $100 sneakers — she was wearingNew Balance 372 shoes, according to the brand.

Aniston’s New Balances are a departure from the basic pairs othercelebrities have wornlately. Sure, stars likeKatie Holmes,Natalie Portman, andEmily Bluntare breaking outwhite sneakers, but theirs are a little less chunky and a little more on the sleek side — the chunkier the shoes, the sportier the vibe. And since they’re probably thicker and taller, they’ll likely be more plush and cushioned on the feet.

Plus, white sneakers easily coordinate with various outfits — basic denim,summery dresses, and colorful blazers. And since the chunky vibe is a bit bolder and non-traditional, they’ll stand out in a sea of run-of-the-mill white shoes. We found more similar chunky sneakers — prices start at $39.

These New Balance sneakers are obviously from the same brand as Aniston’s and share many similar features toher 327s. Both have a big “N” on the sides, chunky soles that look supportive, suede accents, and raised edges for better traction.

Price-wise, they’re in a close ballpark with the 237 v1 Sneakers costing just $20 more. They also might be a smidge more springy in appearance thanks to their lighter, taupe tones.

These Steve Madden shoes are readily available at multiple stores, including Amazon, Zappos, and DSW, so there’s a strong chance of snagging your size. The treads on the bottom are circular like Aniston’s, and they trail up the back of the shoe, too. The heel is also 1.25 inches, which is just enough to add a bit of height.

The Belos Chunky Platform Lace-Up Sneakers have a very functional and super sneaky detail — black rubber soles. (No worries if you accidentally step in mud!) This, conveniently, corresponds with the black details on Aniston’s, but it also should keep your shoes looking fresher for longer since you won’t see specs or trails of dirt.

“[They’re] great sneakers for nurses,”one shopper said. They called the shoes“very very comfortable” and added, “You don’t feel as if you’re wearing shoes.”Another customer, who got a pair in silver, noted that they’re “like walking on clouds.”
