Jennifer Garner Thinks anAliasReboot Would Be the 'Most Fun Ever' — but 'Nobody's Ever Really Brought It Up'

More than 17 years after the series finale ofAlias,Jennifer Garneris open to playing Sydney Bristow once again.

When asked about a possible reboot of the ABC series onThe ViewWednesday, the 51-year-old actress responded, “Oh my gosh, would that be the most fun ever? That would be so fun.”

That said, Garner did note that a potential reboot would need the seal of approval from show creatorJ.J. Abrams: “You know, that’s really, that’s up to J.J. Nobody has ever really brought it up.”

Nearly two decades since the show ended, Garner says the cast — includingBradley Cooper,Victor GarberandRon Rifkin— has maintained a close bond.

“Bradley, Victor, and Ron were just together — they were seeingMaestro, which is such an amazing movie,” she shared. “I see Victor and Ron all the time. So we’re all very, very close.”

Garner reunited with Cooper at a screening of the film about composer-conductorLeonard Bernsteinearlier this month in Los Angeles.

“If you are my person and you are on stage I’ll do what I can to see you. ♥️@therealvictorgarberis my person,” she wrote alongside a photo with Garber at the Irish Repertory Theatre in New York City.

“And on stage with incredible [J. Smith Cameron] =⭐️♥️👏,” Garner added, shouting out theSuccessionactress, who starred alongside Garber in the A. R. Gurneyplay about two friends who exchange letters over a lifetime.

Garber, 74, posted the same photo of the pair on his ownInstagrampage, adding the caption: “Last night a surprise visit at Irish Rep Theatre.”

Back in 2021, Garner shared that she wasready for a rebootofAlias, which ran for five seasons from 2001 to 2006. On the series, she starred as Sydney Bristow, a double agent for the CIA who balanced going on stealth missions with maintaining her identity a secret from her friends and family.
