Jennifer Lopez Chooses Barbie's Signature Shade to Support Husband Ben Affleck at 2024 Golden Globes

The couple made a grand entrance on the2024 Golden Globesred carpet, and while Affleck’s movieAiris nominatedfor best motion picture musical or comedy, Lopez’s dress already stole the show.

The actress and singer, 54, looked radiant in a pink, strapless Nicole + Felicia couture strapless mermaid dress teamed with a matching cape featuring exaggerated flower sleeves. She teamed the look with dazzling Boucheron jewels, a Judith Leiber clutch and Christian Louboutin heels. She also exuded Old Hollywood Glam with side-swept curls and matching pink makeup.

For his part, Affleck, 51, was dapper as ever in a classic tuxedo, letting his leading lady take center stage.

In aninterview withVariety’s Marc Malkin on the Golden Globes carpet, Lopez opened up about the upcoming wedding-themed music video for her new single"Can’t Get Enough."

“I think it might surprise some people. It’s definitely kind of a meta story about the journey that it takes to get from heartbreak back to love,” she shared of the track off her upcoming albumThis Is Me … Now.

Malkin then joked that the superstar, whohas been married four times, has “experienced a few weddings,” and she hit back with an expert response: “I have. I am somewhat of an expert, you could say, in a weird way. Not so much on marriage, but on weddings.”

“I don’t take myself too seriously,” she added. “I think that life is a crazy journey where you fall down and you get back up, and you keep trying and you never give up.”

Affleck and Lopez have been busy shutting down red carpets with their style a lot lately. AtElle’s Women in Hollywood ceremony in December, Lopez, who was honored with the Icon Award, bared her famous abs in a Grace Ling backless gown featuring a whiplash-inducingmetallic breastplate top.

The couple turned up the PDA at the event, sharing a kiss for the cameras. Inside, Affleck was proudly playing the role of Instagram husband as he filmed Lopez on stage after she accepted her award.

At the 2023 LACMA Art+Film Gala, the couple dressed to impress once again, this time both in Gucci.

Affleck kept it classic in a sleek Gucci tuxedo while Lopez showed off her signature JLo glow in a nude Gucci gown featuring a cutout bustier bodice and sheer lace skirt that showed off her Gucci briefs. She completed the look with a 161-carat, cushion-cut pink tourmaline necklace from the Italian luxury label’s Allegoria High Jewelry collection.

While appearing onLive with Kelly and Marklast year, Lopez revealed that she asks her husband for his opinions on her red carpet looks — and his feedback sometimes throws her.

“He doesn’t come to the fittings or anything like that,” Lopez explained. “But, if I’m getting dressed and we’re going to a red carpet or some big event I’m like, ‘What do you think? This one or this one? Do you like this or do you like this?’ Stuff like that.”

She added: “He’ll joke with me sometimes and say, ‘Where’s the rest of the shirt?’ And I’m like, ‘No, this one doesn’t have anything else.”

But Lopez doesn’t take her husband’s fashion musings to heart.

The Grammy-nominated superstar maintain she’s never felt more beautiful than when she’s with her man. (Lopez and Affleck were first engaged in 2002, and tied the knot in 2022 after reconciling the previous year.)

“I feel even more relaxed and comfortable, which makes me feel even more beautiful than I have ever felt with someone else," shetoldVoguein November, noting that Affleck “wants me to understand my worth and know my value.”
