Jessica Simpson Shares Rare Back to School Photo with Kids Maxwell, Ace and Birdie: 'So Very Proud'

On Wednesday, Sept. 4, the singer and fashion designer, 44, shared a carousel Instagram post of her three children as they headed back to school.

While Maxwell and Birdie matched in checkered blue skirts, Ace sported a red polo top and beige shorts.

Both Maxwell and Birdie also wore their blonde locks down, with Birdie sporting red and navy bows to match her navy polo top and sneakers, while Maxwell wore a white polo top.

Meanwhile, Simpson looked stylish in a lime green dress, cropped black waistcoat, leopard print boots and a pair of matching sunglasses.

“Maxwell, Ace and Birdie y’all make your Mom beam with smiles and grace!” Simpson — who shares her children with husbandEric Johnson— wrote in the caption. “Keep on showin’ up for yourselves with each step of the way through this new school year!”

She added, “I’m so very proud of y’all for individually shining your light so that in return others feel the glow. 🤍.”

In the carousel’s following snaps, Simpson placed her hands on her hips as she and her kids displayed different poses.

The mother of three and her younger two children were also snapped crossing their arms in sync before a solo shot of Maxwell was featured.

Simpson’s proud mom moment comes after she and her two daughters took selfies together whilewatching Ace at a basketball gamelast month.
