The fashion mogul 44, channeled her Texas roots in what appeared to be an impromptu photoshoot posted toInstagramon Monday, Aug. 26. She wore a second-skin Saint Laurent catsuit covered in a large rose print. The statement piece had a halter neckline and stomach cutout.

Simpson paired the catsuit with a fuzzy coat, white platform boots and oversize silver hoop earrings. Her hair was pulled back in a half-up style with tons of added volume. The post’s caption contained a single rose emoji.

Simpson told PEOPLEin a 2023 exclusive interview that she doesn’t let the weather dictate her fashion choices any time of the year.

“I am the type that will wear a slip dress with fishnets, boots, and an oversized turtleneck sweater or shorts with a tight, thigh-high boot, tee and blazer,” she said, to illustrate that she wears what she wants, no matter what’s going on outside.
