Jimmy Fallonis giving credit where credit is due.
The Tonight Showhost, 50, who has written nearly 10 children’s books, says when he sits down to think up his latest title, he takes notes from his daughters Winnie, 11, and Frances, 9.
“I’m totally stealing ideas from all my kids and they’re going to sue me eventually,” Fallon, who shares his two children with wifeNancy Juvonenjokes to PEOPLE in an interview about the holiday season. “They said they wanted lawyers for Christmas. I don’t know what that means.”
“‘How many more sleeps till we go to Grandma’s house?’ ” he remembers her asking. “And I was like, I never heard that before. ‘How many sleeps?’ But it was pretty cute.”

The sweet interaction led to the 2020 release of5 More Sleeps ‘til Christmasand later5 More Sleeps ‘til Halloweenin 2024.
“There are no real Dada books,” he remembers. “So I was like, let’s put out a book and all the book is, is the word Dada over and over again.”
And while the book was “a hit,” he says he received feedback that he needed to expand the collection.
“I had a lot of people coming up to me going, ‘Love it, but are you kidding me? You have nothing but women in your life. There’s no mama book? What are you doing? What’s wrong with you?' " he explains. “And I go, ‘I’m so sorry. So I go, all right, what can I do that’s a little different and fun?’ So I did a mama book.”

TheSNLalum has kept himself busy in recent months, partnering with Alex Mill on his secondP’Jimmies pajamas collection, releasing a holiday album titledHoliday Seasoningand even has his own SiriusXM channel filled with his favorite songs of the season.
“You can tell that AI did not write these songs,” he says of his album. “These are songs that AI would tell you not to write. It’d be like, do not write ‘Christmas Ding Dong’ Do not write ‘Chipmunks & Chestnuts.’ This is the opposite of what an algorithm would write — it just comes from the brain of an insane man.”
