“Mama sad but goats are very glad. 🎄🐐,” she wrote in the caption.
It’s no surprise that Gaines was wistful about the end of Christmas. Last month, theFixer Upperstar shared a video on Instagram that showed her transforming her farmhouse into a veritable holiday wonderland.
“Did some shopping at @Magnolia Market and spent yesterday setting the farm for the holidays ✨,” she captioned the video, which documented the decoration process.
The video included a glimpse of the aforementioned tree, which she trimmed with twinkly lights, silver and white bulb ornaments and an antique brass collar around the base. Gaines also decked out her home with wreaths, a garland on the fireplace mantel, holiday-scented candles, a stack of Christmas books and a cozy throw blanket.
