Joey Kingis looking back on a very memorable year.

In a post on her Instagram Story on Friday, theKissing Boothstar, 24, shared her best moment of 2023 with her fans. “Marrying this babe,” she wrote, alongside a photo of her and husbandSteven Pietsharing a kiss attheir September weddingin Mallorca, Spain.

In the image, the two appear wet — likely from theirimpromptu plunge. King recently toldElite Dailythat she and Piet jumped into the pool at their reception to cool off.

“It was not planned because we were already having a pool party the next day. I have never danced harder in my life than at my wedding. My husband and I got so hot, so sweaty. You know that heat where you can start to feel your heartbeat in your face? I was that hot," the actress told the outlet.

While the jump was spontaneous, King did have the foresight to alert the wedding photographers so they could capture the fun moment.

“I knew the photographers would want to know, so I told them we were going for it. Then, we just jumped in, and it was the most fun because so many people joined us in their fancy dresses," she recalled. “It was the most romantic moment to me. It was so spontaneous, and it felt like such a movie, honestly. I loved the camaraderie of it all.”

The ceremony — during which the couple exchanged handwritten vows — was held atop the fortress' lower-terrace swimming pool.

“Looking out from the altar at all of our friends and family was an unforgettable moment,” King toldVogue. “We truly felt so perfectly present, and soaking in every detail was pure magic.”

Ahead of the wedding, King celebrated her bachelorette party with family and friends in Napa, California. The actress told PEOPLE that her sisters planned the soirée, held at Cakebread Cellars winery.

“They did such an amazing job, so I felt so showered with love,” she said, adding that the night got a little wild.

“It was insane. We went wine tasting, my sister threw up. It was hilarious,” she told PEOPLE.

King and Piet, whogot engaged in February 2022, first met on the set ofThe Act. They struck up a friendship that soon grew into more.

“There was such an immediate ease. I had a very big crush but waited until the wrap party to ask him out,” King toldVogue.“I worked up the courage and took him aside to tell him how I felt. It was the best decision of my life!”
