John Mulaneywill be back on Broadway this December.
The comedian is returning to the boards in a new play adapted from the short stories of humorist Simon Rich, with whom he previously worked with as writer onSaturday Night Live.
“Even though the show’s kind of all over the place, it’s meant to tell one simple story: that the most important part of life is who we share it with. We hope everybody will relate to it, even if it was their date’s idea to come and they are starting out from a place of quiet resentment.”
Performances begin on Dec. 11 for a limited 10 week run at the Hudson Theatre in New York City. An opening night has yet to be announced.
