JoJo Siwa Hard Launches Her New Girlfriend Dakayla Wilson on Instagram: 'Cats Outta the Bag'

JoJo Siwa’s in a new relationship!

On Wednesday, Aug. 14, the formerDance Momsstar, 21, hard-launched her romance withSo You Think You Can DancealumDakayla Wilson, sharing a video of the two hugged-up on her Instagram Stories.

During what looks like a studio dance class, Wilson dances around in front of a mirror before she pauses to tell the crowded room, “So I have a girlfriend.” The group erupts with cheers as the couple bear hug and scream with excitement, too.

“Cats outta the bag 😺,” Siwa captioned the video with Wilson tagged. The latter resposted the clip on her own page and wrote, “surprise shawtyyyyy 😽.”

After their hard launch, Siwa shared a photo of her and Wilson outside holding hands, captioned, “Perfect day 🖤.” The dancer’s girlfriend also reposted the snap and wrote on her Instagram Story, “literally the most perfect day 🖤.”

It’s unclear how long Siwa and Wilson have been dating. However, the former confirmed on social media that they spent the past weekend together for a dance class Wilson was teaching.

“Girlfriend taught a dance class so i took a weekend off of being JoJo Siwa and became her All Star Assistant,” she captioned aTikTok videoof her dancing. “❤️‍🔥 @DAKAYLA WILSON broke my body in half for this but WORTH IT.”

Siwa last dated TikTok starAvery Cyrus, with whom shebroke upin December 2022 after three months of dating. The “Guilty Pleasure” singer announced their split in a TikTok post, saying to her ex, “This is my sorry for breaking up with you present,” while holding a package of Silly Putty.

Meanwhile, Wilson earlier this year sparked"showmance" rumorswith her SYTYCD season 18 castmate Anthony Curley, though nothing seemed to manifest after the season ended.

Back in March, Siwa brieflyopened up about her dating lifeto PEOPLE when asked about her current relationship status. “Actually, I’m sure you wouldn’t like to know, but I’m sure you would like to know,” the performer quipped, adding, “I got a good word for it — messy. I’m messy.”
