The actors were photographed getting cozy in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico on Monday as they celebrated Nyong’o’s 41st birthday on an extended birthday trip.

“They vacationed in Puerto Vallarta for Lupita’s birthday,” a source tells PEOPLE. “They only had eyes for each other all weekend. They kept kissing, laughing and just had the best time.”

Jackson, 45, and Nyong’o were first romantically linked in October 2023 after beingspottedat aJanelle Monáeconcert in Los Angeles. The concert outing appeared platonic, as the now-couple appeared with other Hollywood friends.

The sighting came on the heels of Jackson’s split from wifeJodie Turner-Smith, who filed for divorce in early October. “They are on very different paths in life,” a source previously told PEOPLE of the decision to divorce, adding, “It turned into an unhealthy marriage that made her unhappy.”

Nyong’o was also transitioning out of her relationship withSelema Masekelaat the time. She also announced their split in October.
