Kathryn Hahn Says Teen Daughter Mae Made Her a 'Gorgeous' Charcuterie Plate Ahead of 2023 Emmy Awards

Kathryn Hahngot ready for the75th annual Primetime Emmy Awardswith her teenage daughter.

Speaking withE!on the red carpet at the 2023 Emmy Awards, theTiny, Beautiful Thingsactress, 50, said she got ready for the big day with daughter Mae Marie, 14.

“My sweet daughter made a charcuterie plate, which was stunning, so props to my daughter Mae. Shout out to Mae. We had some champagne. We lit some candles — not all in that order — and I had a really relaxing morning.

The actress also said she and her teen daughter have been watchingAmerican Horror Story, “which I have never seen before. Kind of obsessed to watch with my 14-year-old.”

In addition to Mae, Hahn is also mom to son Leonard Henry, 16, whom she shares with husband Ethan Sandler.

At the same event in 2021, Hahn caught up with PEOPLE and revealed that her kids occasionally get embarrassed when they’d see her rehearsing at home forWandavision.

“Is this a character that you just have fun going around your house and falling into?” PEOPLE’s Jeremy Parson’s asked Hahn of her playing the role as nosy neighbor Agnes/villainous witch Agatha Harkness.

“It would be really fun — my kids would just be making constant fun,” Hahn said.

“Like my kid walked in one time while I was practicing my witch moves and he was like, ‘Oh my God, Mom!’ Like it was as if he just saw me just getting out of the shower,” she added with a laugh. “He was so embarrassed.”

She went on to add, “I’m just trying to work with, like, heart softening around them so they don’t feel all my neuroses around being the working parent. I’m just trying to be a good listener … Being present and sitting and giving them the space.”
