Katy Perry Shares Before and After of Her Dog Nugget's Haircut — See the Adorable Result

Katy Perry’s dog Nugget has a fresh new look!

On Saturday night, the “Electric” singer, 39, shared images on her Instagram Story of the teacup poodle before and after her haircut. There are no captions on the images, but Nugget’s cuteness speaks for itself.

The before shot shows the canine perched on the back of an armchair, with her curly coat of golden hair looking adorably wild and overgrown. In the after photo, Nugget looks impeccably coiffed — and is even sporting a small bow around her neck.

The dog may have a famous mom, but she is a star in her own right. In 2017, Nugget appeared alongside Perry in her ad forCiti’s Double Cash card. She even released a statement about her gig.

“I’ve traveled from stage to stage with Katy, but it’s time to take my solo career to the next level and ride my own wagging tail. I’m as happy as a hound dog chasing a gut truck to be launching this new campaign with Citi,” Nugget said in a statement at the time. “It finally puts me on the pedestal on which I belong.”

In 2018, Nugget made headlines for a scarier reason when Perry’s assistant Tamrasaved the dog’s lifeusing CPR.

“Nugget jumped and fell off the bed and became unresponsive and I gave her CPR. I pushed on her little chest and blew in her mouth and I brought her back to life,” Tamra explained in one of the clips on Perry’s Instagram Story at the time.

Nugget is also Perry’s co-star in her 2019 music video for the song"Small Talk."
