Perry, 39, later shared a series of snaps and clips from the concert on Instagram, including a smiling selfie with Swift backstage. “got to see an old friend shine tonight ♥️✨,” theAmerican Idoljudge captioned the carousel.
The “Roar” singer’s post also featured videos of Swift performing her tracks “You Belong with Me” and “Bad Blood,” along with a photo with Ora, 33, in the VIP tent. During Swift’s performance of the latter song, Perry flipped her camera around to show herself pulling a shocked face and mouthing the lyrics.

Ora also posted pictures from the show on Instagram and posed for a photo backstage with Swift, who was wearing a bedazzled bodysuit, with her husbandTaika Waititi. During the concert, Ora also met Kelce, 34, and smiled for a photo with the Kansas City Chiefs star in the VIP tent.
“It’s fair to say Sydney 🇦🇺 always delivers - Or shall we say our TayTay @taylorswift always delivers! thank you for having us! Seeing my KP @katyperry made my heart 🥹 to many queens to count!” Ora captioned the post.
In avideoposted to X (formerly Twitter), Ora and Perry could be seen chatting in the VIP tent as they stood next to filmmaker Waititi, 48, while Perry also appeared to accept what looked like a friendship bracelet from a fan.Swapping handmade beaded braceletsbecame Swifties' new favorite pastime during the Eras Tour last summer.

Both Perry and Ora, who also showed off her impressive collection of friendship bracelets, dressed in all-black for the concert, with Ora wearing a black cap and strapless dress while Perry sported a cropped black waistcoat with thin white stripes and matching flared pants.

Meanwhile, Perry supporting Swift on her tour comes after the “Bon Appétit" singer opened up aboutwhy the pair decided to put aside their differencesfollowing a years-longcomplicated relationshipthat seemingly inspired Swift’s “Bad Blood,” and Perry’s track “Swish Swish.”
In a July 2020 interview on theHoward Stern Show, Perry explained that she and Swift wanted to publicly bury the hatchet and set “an example” for their younger fans.

The year before, the pair had reunited in Swift’s“You Need to Calm Down”music video, with Perry wearing a burger costume and Swift dressed as french fries.
Friday’s show was Swift’s first of four at the Accor Stadium, with the “Anti-Hero” singer set to perform until Feb. 26 in Australia before heading to Singapore for the next stop of her tour on March 2.
According to Australian news outlet theSydney Morning Herald, Swift addressed the weather as she took to the stage and told the 81,000-strong crowd, “An Aussie crowd will never let anything get in the way.”
