The Los Angeles weather may have rained onKelsea Ballerini’sGrammysparade — but only for a little bit, as her moment withTaylor Swiftmade up for it!
As fans waited for the country singer, 30, to make her appearance on the red carpet, Ballerini was stuck in traffic due to the downpour, as she reported on her Instagram.
However, Ballerini’s full look received all the attention when she eventually showed up at the Crpyto.com Stadium, where she linked up with theMidnightssinger, 34, inside the venue.

Hair pro Danielle Priano tied Ballerini’s hair into a sleek three-tiered ponytail (achieved withGreat Lengthstape-in extensions in the shades “Ash Beautiful” and “Sandstorm”) and used her hero Pantene products to “create something structured and modern against the soft femininity” of the Vera Wang gown, as noted in a release.
Makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan gave the star a peachy glow with her CoverGirl essentials, including the Simply Ageless Skin Perfector Essence Foundation, Clean Invisible Concealer and the TruBlend So Flushed High Pigment Blush in a pink shade. Deenihan also used a liquid eyeshadow to make Ballerini’s smokey eye pop.
Meanwhile, Swift — who not only won best pop vocal album, but alsoannounced her new album,The Tortured Poets Departmentduring her acceptance speech —rocked a white Schiaparelli gown, black opera gloves and a number of telling accessories.

Stokes did in fact do that, as he took to Ballerini’s comment section on Instagram to show his love for her sexy look. “Yeaaaaah. I’m..so not okay,” he wrote undera photoof the songstress in her Grammys outfit.

Still, Ballerini is focused on celebrating the small and big milestones.
“I think I have this problem where I can never look around. I keep looking up, and I am trying to find a healthy balance of that because there’s so much more that I want to do in so many areas. But I do feel like I’ve gotten to take a beat and appreciate what the last couple of years have brought into my life,” she told PEOPLE at the ASCAP Grammy Brunch.
“I think it’s really encouraged me to stay diligent in my songwriting and protect the honesty that I found in[Rolling Up the] Welcome Matmoving forward,” continued Ballerini. “And that’s the whole season I’m in right now is figuring what that sounds like next.”
