“Yeah, she wants to be on —and she doesn’t want to be on [Celebrity Jeopardy],” Jennings, 49, shared during hisappearance. “She wants to be on real, original recipeJeopardy!I mean, that’s a hard show.”
“We would take her in a heartbeat,” he added.
WhenKelly Ripaasked Jennings whether the long-running game show would require Stone to audition for an appearance, he said Stone “would have to go through the same tests” as other contestants.

“We no longer make people go to the mall or to a hotel to audition for the show,” he said, while explaining thatpotentialJeopardy!contestants can audition onlinenow. “I think she might have a leg up, though. She’s probably pretty good on camera.”
Stone first revealed her long-held desire to compete on the long-running game show during an appearance on theVarietyAwards Circuitpodcast. “I apply every June,” she said during the podcast, adding, “I don’t want to go onCelebrity Jeopardy!I want to earn my stripes.”
“You can only take the test once a year with your email address, and I’ve never gotten on the show,” Stone said, noting during the interview that she watches the show “every single night” and tracks her answers for each question.

On top of campaigning to appear onJeopardy!,Stone is coming off two recent awards season wins at the 2024Golden GlobesandCritics Choice Awardsfor her performance as Bella Baxter inPoor Things. She also won a Globe as a producer on the movie when it won forbest picturein a musical or comedy on Jan. 7.
Stone is also nominated forPoor Thingsat multiple upcoming awards shows, including the 2024BAFTA Awardsand theSAG Awards. The movie, her latest collaboration with filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos, is expected to receive multiple nominations at the upcoming 96thAcademy Awardswhen nominations are released Tuesday.
“Yorgos, I don’t know what I could say to you that I haven’t said to you already,” Stone said in her acceptance speech at the Globes. “But I will forever be grateful that we met. Forever. Andplaying Bella was unbelievable.”
