King Charleshas made his first public outing since beginning cancer treatment earlier this week.

The 75-year-old monarch appeared alongsideQueen Camillaon Sunday as they attended a church service at St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham, Norfolk, and gave a wave to photographers as he made his way to church with Camilla, 76.

Wearing a smart tan jacket and grey pants, the King held a blue umbrella and smiled at onlookers as he walked alongside his wife, who wore a white jacket and black hat, and Reverend Canon Dr. Paul Williams.

On Feb. 5, the palace announced that King Charles had been diagnosed with cancer. The announcement came a week after the King’sthree-day hospital stayforsurgery for an enlarged prostate. The exact natureof the cancer has not been disclosedat this time.

The palacesaid in the statementat the time: “During The King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted. Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer.”

King Charles’ church visit comes days after his sonPrince Harryflew into the U.K. for a brief trip to speak with him following the announcement of the monarch’s cancer diagnosis.

After arriving in London on Tuesdayfrom Los Angeles, Harry reportedly visited King Charles and Queen Camilla at Clarence House, where they live in London, for a private meeting.

Asource later told PEOPLEof the family reunion, “That is good. Hopefully [Harry] will bring the grandchildren at some point too, as that would be lovely for all of them.”
