Once a Toro, always a Toro!
On Saturday, Aug. 17,Kirsten Dunstproved she still knows how to bring it, reciting the iconic “roll call” chant featured in the opening scene ofBring It Onas the 2000 film played in front of her.
“Hate us ‘cause we’re beautiful, but we don’t like you either,” Dunst, 42, chanted along with the movie in anInstagram post. “We’re cheerleaders. We are cheerleaders!”
As the chant continued, Dunst — who stole hearts as bubbly protagonist Torrance Shipman in thePeyton Reed-directed comedy classic — flashed a huge smile and laughed while pushing away the camera.
The actress revisited a different part of theBring It Onchant during her surprise appearance, telling the audience: “I’m T-T-Torrance, your captain Torrance. Let’s go, Toros!”

She also said she was “honored” that the crowd had gathered to watch the films, and revealed that she hadn’t seen eitherThe Virgin SuicidesorBring It Onsince she was a teenager. She filmed the movies at ages 16 and 17, respectively.
“Oh my god, you guys. This is the craziest thing I’ve ever witnessed in my life,” Dunst said, per Deadline.
“I am so overwhelmed,” she continued. “My friends and family are here, I’m gonna watch with you guys. I haven’t seen any of these movies since I was a teen myself, with an audience. I’m so honored.”
Dunst also expressed gratitude toward the company that made the slumber party-themed event possible, writing on Instagram, “Thank you #cinespia.”

“Everyone’s bringing back their stuff, right? It’s a throwback time,” she told the outlet, adding, “As long as it’s not embarrassing.”
