Cetus-lupeedus! Zenon is back!
TheGeneral Hospitalcast got into character for the 2024 Halloween episode and shared a sweet nostalgic moment betweenKirsten Stormsand Lily Fisher. Storms, 40, plays Maxie Jones on the series, while Fisher plays her onscreen daughter, Georgie.
“Who doesn’t love a reference? Take a closer look at Georgie’sZenon: Girl of the 21st Centurycostume and try telling us it isn’t perfection,” the social media accounts forGeneral Hospitalposted across various platforms, includingInstagram,X(formerly known as Twitter) andFacebook.
In one of the photos, Storms stood beside Fisher, who wore a costume replica of Storms’ Disney character, Zenon Kar.
The firstZenonfilm aired on Disney Channel on Jan. 23, 1999 as the fifth-everDisney Channel Original Movie.
Per asynopsis, it was set in 2049 and based on “an inquisitive teenager [who] pries into suspected dodgy dealings on her space station home — and ends up being sent down to Earth” to be grounded.
Raven-Symonéstarred as her best friend, Nebula Wade, as well as Gregory Smith (Zenon’s crush on planet earth) and Phillip Rhys (rock star Proto Zoa).

After the 1999 film, the franchise expanded with two more Disney movies about the futuristic teen —Zenon: The Zequel(2001) andZenon: Z3(2004).
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Storms virtually reunited with her Disney castmates, Rhys, 52, and Smith, 41, foran exclusive interview with PEOPLE.
“I get recognized more forZenonthan I do fromGeneral Hospitalstill,” Storms told PEOPLE in June 2020.
The actress, who scored her first leading role as Zenon, has starred in the long-running soap opera since 2005.

“But I think it’s funny, I get asked to say ‘cetus-lupeedus’ all the time, and I just go with it,” she continued. “I love that this movie stuck around for so long. And now people are playing it for their kids, which I think is really cool.”
Storms added that for her daughter Harper, who was 6 at the time of the interview, understandingZenon’s storyline was slightly confusing.

“We did clear up some confusion about the fact that I wasn’t really Zenon in real life. She thought when I left her, I went to be Zenon. But I have to say, she’s way more intoElena of Avalorthan any other Disney program. So, I just need to get her away from that and back to theZenonthing.”
