Kyra Sedgwick Poses with Husband Kevin Bacon on Set Together: 'My Favorite Scene Partner’

Sedgwick, 58, shared a new Instagram post on Friday, in which the married couple poses together on the set ofConnescene. Bacon, 65, and Sedgwickreunited as scene partnerson the big screen after two decades.

In the sweetInstagrampost, the two are arm-in-arm and smiling wide for the camera. Bacon sported a Copperhead Road t-shirt and held up an acoustic guitar in the air — but it’s not confirmed whether the two were wearing costumes or their own stylish looks.

“On set shooting Connescence with my favorite scene partner 🫶🏻,” Sedgwick wrote in the Instagram caption.

Bacon stars a security guard named Stan, who meets Sedgwick’s character Cynthia after he stops an attempted robbery at her home. “From this chance encounter grows a charged and dynamic friendship – first as late-night text sessions filled with humor and intimate revelations, growing into something that shakes the foundation of both their lives,” reads the synopsis, perDeadline.

“We are so excited to work together on screen again for the first time in 20 years in such a funny, moving and original script,” said the couple, reported Deadline.

The pair joined for their first roles together in two decades, following their work on 2004 featuresCavedwellerandThe Woodsman.

Although they haven’t acted in the same films since the early aughts, Sedgwick starred in Bacon’s feature directorial debut with 2005’sLoverboy. Then, 17 years later,Bacon returned the favorand starred in Sedgwick’s 2022 directorial debut,Space Oddity.

Along with Bacon joining the set, their sonTravis, 34, composed the film’s music. “It’s greatworking with your family, and it’s complicated working with your family,” Sedgwick told PEOPLE in March 2023.

“But you know no one’s going anywhere, so that’s kind of nice. You can struggle through it and puzzle through it together,” she added.
