TheReal Housewives of Miamistarconfirmed their splitwhile talking toEntertainment Tonightin July 2024. This is the third time Pippen and Jordan have called it quits since they went public with their relationship in January 2023.

The pair firstmet through mutual friendsat a party in Los Angeles in 2019 and developed “a great foundation as friends,” Pippen told PEOPLE.

Their romance made headlines for their 16-year age difference as well as their complicated family ties: Pippen’s ex-husband,Scottie Pippen,was a teammate of Michael Jordan’son the Bulls in the ‘90s. TheRHOMstar denied the dating rumors at BravoCon 2022. Speaking to PEOPLE, she explained that the pair had a longstanding friendship and nothing more.

“We’re friends,” she said. “We’ve been friends for a few years and that’s really what it is. We’re friends.”

Pippen appeared on Andy Cohen’sWatch What Happens Livein December, where shecontinued to play coy about her “friendship”with Jordan — who allegedly accompanied her to the taping, according to theDaily Mail.

Cohen pressed Pippen on her ex’s feelings about the romance rumors, given the strained relationship between him and Jordan’s dad Michael Jordan, Scottie’s former teammate on the Chicago Bulls in the ‘80s and ‘90s.

She added, “Like I never really knew Marcus' mom or them; I just recently met them a couple of years ago.”

When Cohen suggested the two were actually friends “with benefits,” Pippen shot him down, saying, “We’re friends.”

Shortly after the two were seen kissing in Miami,multiple sources confirmed their romanceto PEOPLE. One insider said they were “dating and happy,” while another said, “It is still casual and they’re having fun." They added that Pippen was trying to keep the relationship low-profile for the time being.

“She’s trying her best to keep it quiet and not make a big deal out of it,” said the source. “They see each other at least a few times a week.”

An insider confirmed to PEOPLE thatPippen was smitten with her new beau, saying that she “really likes Marcus a lot” and that she decided to share their romance on social media in order to quell the rumors. The source said that she wanted to “keep the relationship private, but she realized it’s hard being in the public eye so she posted.”

The source added that the new couple were partying at a club in Miami together over the weekend, where they “were displaying a lot of affection publicly and didn’t care who was around.”

“They are definitely into each other,” the source said.

February 28, 2023: Larsa Pippen admits she was “jealous” over watching another woman talk to Marcus Jordan

In February, the mom of four opened up to PEOPLE about the moment that first made her realize she wanted to be more than friends with Jordan.

“I think it was one night we went out and there was a girl that was there. She was trying to talk to him, andI was getting jealous over it,” she said. “And it was weird because I’m not really the jealous person, but I was jealous over the situation.”

She continued, “And so then, I was thinking maybe I do really like him. That kind of sealed the deal.”

March 7, 2023: Larsa Pippen opens up about her and Marcus Jordan’s sex life

In a preview for the 3-partRHOMreunion, Pippen didn’t hold back whensharing details about her intimate relationshipwith Jordan, revealing that they have a very active sex life. “I’ve always had sex like four times a night,” she told her castmates.

At one point in the preview, Pippen also shared some other suggestive details about her new love, noting that he “wears a size 15 shoe, so I think he’s OK.”

The pair began mixing business and pleasure when they released their first podcast together,Separation Anxiety, on iHeartRadio in June. The podcast covers all things #Larcus, as they’ve dubbed themselves — everything from how they met to their thoughts on joint bank accounts and building a life together.

“I feel like we were hiding out and trying to be low key,” recalled Jordan in the teaser for the first episode, in which they discuss the first few months of their relationship. “We didn’t trust anyone,” Pippen added.

On an episode ofSeparation Anxiety, Pippen and Jordan opened up about their relationship, the possibility of having kids together and their age difference.

“There’s beenconversations around [having kids],” said Jordan. “When we go and we meet people, or I’m introducing you to some of my friends, or you introduce me to some of your friends I feel like it gets brought up.”

“But I feel like we’ve never had a one-on-one, private conversation about having children,” he went on.

“It’s one of those things where I think time will tell, you know?” said Pippen, who is a mom offour kids— sons Scotty Jr., Preston and Justin, plus daughterSophia, — with ex Scottie.

Soon after the Trophy Room founder’s dad seemingly revealed his disapproval of Jordan’s relationship with Pippen, Jordan insisted that his whole family isvery on board with their romance.

“We spent Thanksgiving together last year, and my family loves her. They think she’s great,” Jordan revealed during a joint interview with Pippen withEntertainment Tonight. “And ultimately, I think my family just wants to see me happy. And so as long as I’m happy, they’re happy with whoever I’m dating.”

He added that he’s introduced her to his family on both his mom and dad’s side. “I think that went well and so far, so good,” he said.

During an episode ofSeparation Anxiety, Pippen shared that she was “embarrassed” and “traumatized” after Michael Jordan jokingly told TMZ that he didn’t approve of her and Marcus' relationship.

“I didn’t think it was funny,” she said. To which Marcus replied: “I know my dad, and obviously my whole family, we’re so competitive, part of our DNA is to talk s—, it gets us going and gets us motivated. And when I saw it, immediately I thought, ‘He’s playing. He’s joking, he’s laughing. He’s just being playful, he’s a little lit, maybe off the Socorro [tequila].' "

“I feel like if you really want to know what someone’s about or on, you got to kinda go through their phone,” she explained. “It’s a toxic trait … I’m not advising this for everyone because be prepared it might be ugly and might be traumatizing. But I definitely like to look through [the phone].”

Jordan responded: “I mean, look, we got the same passcode on our phones … I’m not afraid for you to go through my phone. Maybe one of these days, I’ll go to your phone. I’m going to go through that OnlyFans and see what popping on there.”

August 17, 2023: Larsa Pippen is spotted wearing a diamond ring

Jordan posted videos on Instagram in which Pippen could be seenwearing a huge diamondon her left ring finger. Later that night, she wore the same ring as the pair left Catch Steak in West Hollywood, California.

When asked about the jewelry, Jordan told TMZ that the pair are “looking for a location” for a wedding, noting that their nuptials are “in the works.”

August 22, 2023: Marcus Jordan and Larsa Pippen confirm they are not engaged

Jordan and Pippenaddressed engagement rumorsin an episode of their iHeartRadio podcast,Separation Anxiety.

“First topic is: Marcus is looking for a wedding venue,” Jordan said, seemingly responding to headlines. “Obviously, we were at dinner the other night, and paparazzi got us leaving the restaurant and asked us if there were wedding plans in the works, and so, I think I responded in a cheeky way.”

Pippen then said that the two are “not engaged,” adding that the diamond ring she has been seen wearing is a “promise ring.”

Still, the couple said that they have been talking about marriage and would both like a destination wedding.

“I also have sex probably five times a night with the love of my life,” she said. Jordan added, “I’m very competitive so I like to stay ready … especially with Larsa as my partner.”

Pippen and Jordanignited breakup rumorswhen they unfollowed each other on Instagram and deleted all photos from their time together. The reality star also shared a cryptic post to her Instagram Story that read: “The man you choose to be your partner affects everything in your life. Choose wisely.”

A source eventually confirmed their split to PEOPLE, saying, “They havedecided to take some time apartto reevaluate their relationship. This has nothing to do with any family input, but solely for their personal growth.”

February 14, 2024: Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan reunite for a date on Valentine’s Day

After a very brief split, Pippen and Jordan seemingly reconciled in time for aValentine’s Day date. The couple stepped out in Miami, and fans couldn’t help but notice that the reality star was wearing a white dress and a massive diamond ring.

March 20, 2024: Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan call it quits again

As quickly as Pippen and Jordan seemed to reunite, they were broken up again. AfterEntertainment Tonightreported that the pair had gone their separate ways again, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that they had, in fact, broken up.

“They’re moving in different directions,” the source said.

A second source added, “Larsa is focusing on her exciting next chapter now. She’s always been someone who is ambitious and driven. She needs a match who has those similar qualities.”
