Lauren Sánchez Calls Herself a 'Proud Mama' as She Celebrates Son Nikko's Runway Debut

Lauren Sánchezis one “proud mama!”

On Saturday, the award-winning journalist and fiancée ofJeff Bezosexpressed her excitement at watching her 22-year-old son Nikko Gonzalez make his runway debut in Dolce & Gabbana’s Fall/Winter 2024-2025 menswear show in Milan.

“Just a proud mama,” Sánchez, 54, captioned a video on Instagram of Nikko, whom she shares with exTony Gonzalez, partaking in the fashion show.

“It was such a gift to watch my son @nikkogzz walking the runway for @dolcegabbana in Milan,” she added. “Congrats, my love.”

At the show, Nikko evoked the title of the collection, “Sleek,” with a buzz cut while dressed in a black, double-breasted suit adorned with an intricate gold brooch.

“Yes!!!!! So 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 so proud of you @nikkogzz ❤️ you,” October wrote, as Sánchez replied with a heart emoji.

In addition to her post-show affection, Sánchez was also in the audience as her son hit the catwalk with fiancé Bezos, 60, according toVogue.

Back in 2021, after Sánchez and Bezos — who have been publicly dating since 2019 andengaged since May 2023—shared photos of themselves vacationing with Nikko, a source told PEOPLE that the couple’s families were “really blended.”

The trip “was a big family celebration,” they told PEOPLE at the time.

“They’ve been together four years now, so their families are really blended at this point,” the insider adding, noting that “their families are very close.”
